Was your choice the right one? Was there a choice at all? Did you play by his rules or yours? Are there any rules in this... Still caught up in the moment, dangling in between possibilities you step up to a chair. The big red armchair covered in black velvet looks tempting and a bit dizzy from all the thoughts and challenges you sit down.
Barely settled you feel watched. You raise your head and your eyes meet those of the host. You shudder once more as black holes swallow you whole without ever touching you. A corny smile on his lips the ever young host steps down and walks up to you.
Black pools stare at you as he raises his hand to place it on the back of your chair. He clears his throat before he politely encourages you to tell him if you feel alright. You wonder if you are.
Obviously you were not expected to reply since the host doesn't pause at all. "So good to meet you here, this chair you know is special, there is only one like this, hehe." A big smile plays on his lips that never touches his eyes at all. "I call it the chair of choices, you might think it is not very imaginative at all, hehe... the chair of choices in the castle of choices... but well the choice is mine as all is mine here."
Irritated and slightly surprised you use the opportunity to ask him about the buttons that are attached to basically nothing but sturdy walls and what about the table. You assume he likes games and he doesn't deny it. He chuckles and asks if you don't think it was a stroke of genius.
You wonder what he refers to since you don't see what possible genius it should display. He moves closer to you and gently shakes his finger: "Don't you dare underestimate me, my most beloved guest. Cause most beloved you are, all are that choose this chair and because they are, they have one more choice, just one more choice." He chuckles and shakes his finger once more. With his right hand he reaches over your body and as you cringe at bit touches the arm of the chair and presses a small engraved flower you didn't see before. The arm rest snaps open and reveals one small crimson button.
"Will you press the button?" The host asks in a small voice, it feels like a whisper in your ear. " Will you press the button?"
